Aggressive skating and in line skating
Rolls or aggressive skating is an extreme sport for many years idolized by young people, along with another
one, skateboarding. Aggressive skating is a form of skating based on stunts, completely different from other forms of inline skating – recreational, speed, fitness.
It first appeared in skate parks built on half-pipes, spines and other special structures, then moved on city streets The rollers execute tricks that run on rails or sliding angled edges, jumps with different rotations over stairs and other obstacles. The term “aggressive” however, is a name used only outside the industry, not approved within the sport. Those who practice it say simply rolling or skating.
The first roller skates were created in 1760 and is characterized by a single row of wheels. In 1819, in Paris, M. Petitbled held the patent for the first roll with three aligned wheels . Over the next 40 years, all the rolls had a single row of wheels and their number may vary depending on the manufacturer.Scott Olson contributed most to the development of the sport wheels built by Chicago Roller Skate Company. By attaching four wheels, first and last being arranged outside boots, wheels began to resemble more and more with ice skates. Olson Brothers speculated that similarities and led a major change in the sports industry. Skating has become a growing hobby agreed. The correct term used when we refer to the roller wheels attached to a single line is `Rollerblade`. Unfortunately, this name is applied to all types of rolls and creates confusion among practitioners of the sport.
Rollerblading comes from the brand that is market leader in the U.S., Rollerblade, and is the popular name used for “in-line skating” or “riding a roller”.
